Great opportunity to own 102 acres of eight-year-old pistachios. Varieties are Lost Hills and Randy. Lost Hills is a female cultivar; released 2005; in comparison to Kerman varieties, they are of similar yield and larger kernel size, fewer blanks, and higher percentage of edible, inshell split nuts; flowers approximately 1 week earlier and matures 10 days earlier. Randy Variety is the male cultivar, with peak flowering approximately 10 days earlier and has similar bloom period to the Lost Hills variety. Randy has a similar length bloom period ,and its pollen durability is considered better. Mixed in with Lost Hills and Randy are additional pollinators Tejon and Peters. Tejon is a new male pistachio whose pollen is shed early, over- lapping the time for pollination. Peters shed over 2+ week period. There are two ag wells with drip line system. Newer well is at an approx. 450 ft. depth w/ 150hp pump and a 60hp booster that has the capability of irrigating entire ranch providing approx. 2200gpm. Second well is 30hp and has capabilities of irrigating the ranch in three sets providing approx. 900gpm.
